Salena Jacob, PT, DPT, MS, RYT 200

Salena attended her first yoga class when she was a teenager- and she was not a fan at first. She continued to go to classes with her parents, and one day, she collapsed in tears on her mat. There was something about this practice that was digging deep within her soul. And she wanted to explore more. Over the next couple of years, Salena’s love for yoga only grew stronger.

After her undergraduate studies, Salena decided to pursue the 200-hr yoga teacher certification while simultaneously working part-time as a physical therapy aide. At one point, she realized that physical therapy and yoga merge together so beautifully.

Fast forward some years, Salena is now a physical therapist and yoga teacher, who uses her extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology to empower other yogis to learn about the ancient Indian roots of yoga, explore their mind-body connection, and journey within their soul.
