Here is a short easy meditation that will help you open your heart.
Joey helps you to connect with your natural breath and to get in touch with the rhythm of your body. Then extend the time you spend on the inhale and exhale to activate the parasympathetic nervous system — the “rest and digest” state.
Imagine a golden light that comes into your head and down into your heart, enlivening the heart space. Think of something you have gratitude for, that lights you up, brings you joy, and notice that the light expands. The golden light moves throughout your body. Then the light moves back into your heartspace, and up and out the top of your head. The light spreads your love and your light to all who need it.
Continue taking deep breaths. Take a big final breath in through the nose and out through the mouth, and then return to your natural breath.
